Don Wilson, 72, of Derby, Kansas, died at 6:00 p.m., Friday, February 19, 2010, at Via Christi St. Francis Hospice Unit in Wichita.
He was born December 4, 1937, in Casa Grande, Arizona, to Bob and Elsie (Johnson) Wilson. He lived most of his life in Gatesville, Texas. Following high school graduation, he served in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Germany.
He enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing bridge, and through the years had written articles for a gardening magazine. He was raised Baptist.
He and Leslie Lorraine MacLeod were married. They later divorced.

One Daughter – Susie (W.L.) Taylor and husband, Larry New Mexico

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 21, 2010, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons, Kansas. Burial was in Springhill Cemetery near Parsons.
