Donald W. "Moose" Anderson, 51, of Parsons, died at 10:30 p.m., Thursday, October 19, 2006 at his home.
He was born March 14, 1955 in Rayville, Louisiana to Harry Jones and Louvine Anderson-Higgins. As a young boy, he grew up and attended schools in Rayville.
For a time he worked at a grocery store. In 1976, he began his employment at Power Flame in Parsons where he continued to work for fourteen years. At that time, he was forced to retire due to health reasons.
On May 28, 1992, he and Rose Kendricks were married in Parsons. She survives of the home.
He loved to play pitty pat and also enjoyed sports. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan. He was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Parsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Charlie Anderson.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 23, 2006 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m., Sunday, October 22, 2006 at the funeral home.
