Donna Rose Snowden, 68, of Altamont, passed away at her home, early Saturday morning, November 8, 2008. Her death was unexpected.
She was born February 14, 1940 at Yates Center, Kansas to Philip and Maxine (Hartwell) McCrary. She grew up and attended school in Altamont and graduated from the Labette County High School there. In the 1980s, she moved to Grove, Oklahoma where she lived until returning to Altamont two years ago.
She enjoyed selling items on Ebay. She also enjoyed traveling, going to flea markets and walking her dog.
She is survived by her companion, Raymond Baker, Sr. of the home. Two sons, Pat Foster and his wife, Betsy of Mustang, Oklahoma and Kenny Foster of Parsons; One Daughter, Denise Aunko and her husband, Derek of Mustang, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Joshua Gwillim, Tyler Gwillim and Bailey Jo Foster; Two Sisters, Phyllis Brown of Yukon, Oklahoma and Janet Hinman of Parsons, Kansas.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Altamont.
