Dylan Charles Smith

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dylan C. Smith, 30, on September 8th, 2023.

Dylan was born in Manhattan, Kansas on July 10, 1993. Dylan enjoyed music, politics, debating, and nature. He was known for his carefree and adventurous spirit. As quoted by his grandfather, Dylan was "A young man with the light of adventure and travel in his eyes and touch of wildness in his soul".

Dylan is survived by his mother, Hope Smith, and his father, Terry Smith. He is survived by his brother, Tanner Smith (Alicia), and their four children, Journey, Jackson, HopeLynn, and Spencer. He is also survived by his sister, Lizzy Smith (Joel), and his grandparents Chuck and Joyce Menghini. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, September 13th, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons. Memorials are suggested to the Parsons Education Foundation, designated to benefit the Choir and Debate & Forensics team.  These may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O.
