Edith A. "Edie" Samples, 59, of Parsons, died at 2:17 p.m., Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Edie was born March 23, 1956 at New London, Connecticut to Elmer and Mary (Way) Williams. She grew up and attended school in Connecticut and graduated from high school there. In 1997, she moved to Parsons where she had lived since. Edie worked as a Certified Medication Aide in various nursing homes.
She enjoyed camping and cooking out.
She was married to Roy E. Samples at Miami, Oklahoma on March 30, 2000. He survives of the home.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
Following cremation, a memorial service for Edith A. "Edie" Samples will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home.
