Elsworth M. Gange, 79, of Oswego, died at 5:31 a.m., Monday, September 24, 2012, at Labette Health in Parsons.
He was born August 5, 1933, in Loyalton, South Dakota, to James and Goldie (Barton) Gange. He attended high school in Aberdeen, South Dakota, and had earned four journeyman degrees.
He lived a full life including serving in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Upon his honorable discharge from the Army, he worked as a self-employed plumber and heating and air technician for 60 years.
He and Linda J. Camper were married June 28, 1966, in Port Angeles, Washington. In 1978, they moved from Minnesota to southeast Kansas where they have lived since.
He attended the First Southern Baptist Church in Oswego and enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 27, 2012, at Oswego Cemetery under the direction of Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa. The casket will remain closed. No visitation is scheduled.
