Ervin W. "Ernie" Wolfe, 69, of Chetopa, died at 10:40 p.m., Thursday, April 22, 2010, at Chetopa Manor Nursing Home.
He was born May 25, 1940, in Welch, Oklahoma, to John and Alma (Sheffield) Wolfe. He was a lifelong area resident and 1958 graduate of Chetopa High School.
Through the years, he and his father were engaged in farming. He enjoyed music and attending auctions.
Survivors include:
One Brother – John "Buddy" Wolfe Chetopa, KS
Two Sisters – Pat Blaich Chetopa, KS
Annie Cook Chetopa, KS
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Following cremation, graveside committal services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Chetopa. The Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa is in charge of arrangements.
