Floyd "Whitey" Clymer, 67, of Chetopa, died at 9:35 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2012, at his home.
He was born November 13, 1944, in Sayre, Oklahoma, to Clell and Pearl (Packard) Clymer. He was a graduate of Sublette High School in Sublette, Kansas.
Through the years he worked as a construction worker.
He and Gloria Mesa were married in 1964. They later divorced.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one grandchild.
The body has been cremated under the direction of Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa. No services are planned at this time.
