Frances A. "Frannie" Gamblian, 54, of Parsons, passed away at 1:41 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
She was born November 14, 1960 in Parsons, Kansas to Jimmie Eugene and Ann Marie (Fish) Gamblian. She grew up and attended school in Parsons where she was a 1979 graduate of Parsons High School. She then attended Labette Community College where she studied nursing.
Through the years, Frannie worked as a certified nursing assistant at Parsons Presbyterian Manor and Parsons Good Samaritan Society.
She attended the Parsons Nazarene Church. She enjoyed crocheting, making jewelry, working word search puzzles, and had been active in Relay for Life in the past. She especially enjoyed visiting with family and friends and spending time with her great-nephew, Milez.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmie Gamblian; stepmother, Lavita Gamblian; stepfather, Richard "Tiny" Dickens; one sister, Debbie Gamblian; step-brother, Randy Dickens; and three nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
