Frank I. Breeze, 69, of Parsons, died at 12:14 p.m., Friday, August 6, 2010, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. He had been in failing health.
He was born January 17, 1941 in Garden City, Missouri to Lloyd E. Breeze and Ruby (Wendleton) Breeze. At a young age, he moved with his family to Parsons. He grew up and attended schools in Parsons and graduated from West High.
Mr. Breeze was employed by the Food Town Grocery Stores for thirteen years, living in Parsons, Coffeyville, Ft. Scott, Dearing and Emporia. He returned to Parsons in 1969 where he worked for the Kansas Gas Service, retiring in 1998.
He did auto body repair and painting for 40 years. He enjoyed watching and playing sports, hunting, and watching wildlife. He also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He married Sharon Wass and was later divorced. He and Mary Berkenmeier were married on December 25, 1974 in Brazos County, Texas. She survives of the home.

Eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren
Two sisters - Jean Blackburn Parsons, Kansas
Bonnie Robinson Kansas City, Kansas
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth E. Breeze, Robert "Wayne" Breeze, and James F. Breeze, and one sister, Norma Jones.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Parsons.
