Fredrick S. "Reno" Beach, 68, of Parsons, passed away at 5:55 p.m., Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at his home.
He was born February 6, 1949 in Independence, Kansas to Norwood and Mildred (Riedle) Beach. While his father was working construction, he grew up in various cities in Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.
In June of 1966, he entered the United States Army where he served in Germany, Korea, and Vietnam. Upon his honorable discharge in 1984, he moved to St. Robert, Missouri where he operated an auto body shop. After retiring, he moved to Parsons to be near family.
He was a member of Elks – BPOE Lodge No. 527 in Parsons and a life member of Brown-Bishop Post No. 704, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Parsons. He was an avid pool player in the City Pool League and enjoyed playing poker, making crafts, and collecting diecast model cars.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Gerald Ray Beach and Dana Leroy Beach; and two infant sisters, Geraldine Kay Beach and Stacy Joan Beach.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 1, 2017 at Springhill Cemetery, rural Parsons. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Thursday, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
