George W. "Billy" Tullis, 62, of Chetopa, died at 6:00 a.m., Friday, October 8, 2010, at the Chetopa Manor Nursing Home where he had resided since December 9, 1999.
He was born November 12, 1947, at Parsons, Kansas, to George W. and Betty Lou (Kemmerer) Tullis. He had been mentally handicapped since birth. Billy resided in Bartlett, Kansas, until moving to Chetopa in 1999. Billy enjoyed playing with toy trucks and watching movies and television.
Survivors include:
Cousin – David Blackburn and wife, Lisa Oklahoma City, OK
Numerous friends
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Don and Steve Tullis.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 11, 2010, at the Lake Creek Cemetery near Bartlett. Friends may call at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa after 9:00 a.m., on Monday.
