Gladine Oliveanna Erickson, 88, of Grove, Oklahoma, formerly of Edna, Kansas, died on May 8, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO.
She was born October 11, 1929, in Savonburg, Kansas to Robert and Selma (Adelgren) Larson. She was a 1947 graduate of Grant Township High School in Stark, Kansas.

grades in a one-room school west of Savonburg. In September of 1987, she retired as Propane Plant Office Manager from Union LP Gas Systems, Inc., in Edna following 30 years of service. After retirement, she attended Coffeyville Junior College and in 1989 worked at the Edna Senior Center doing Meals-on-Wheels and site manager until October 2012. She was a member of the Edna Civic Organization (ECOs). In October 2016, she moved to and thoroughly enjoyed Grandwood Assisted Living in Grove, Oklahoma.
She was an active member of the Edna United Methodist Church where she had taught Sunday school, played the piano, and served on many committees. She especially enjoyed helping people, teaching children, watching sports, gardening, music, playing games, sewing for children, and spending time with her family.

Lewis Erickson and his wife, Nancy, of Wichita, KS
David Erickson of Rockwall, TX
Four Grandchildren – Rose Payne and her husband, Kelly, Betsy Rogg and her husband, Nathan, Robert Erickson and his wife, Katelyn, and Jenna Ashe Campbell
Two Great-Grandchildren – Jillian Payne and Ealijah Ashe
One Brother – Rolland Larson and his wife, Carolyn, of Lenexa, KS
Two Nieces and One Nephew
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lawrence Erickson, on November 18, 2011; and one brother, Robert Larson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 11, 2018, at the Edna United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Edna Elm Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30–8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 10, 2018, at the church. Friends may call at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Altamont from 1-5:00 p.m., on Thursday.
