Glenn H. McWilliams, 87, of Parsons, died unexpectedly at 9:00 a.m., Monday, November 12, 2007, in the Emergency Room at Labette Health in Parsons.
He was born June 10, 1920, in Irwin, Missouri, to Adam Francis and Blanche Elizabeth (Gilmore) McWilliams. During World War II, he served in the United States Army.
He and Betty L. Batley were married April 17, 1946, in Ft. Scott, Kansas. Following marriage, they lived in various towns in Kansas and Missouri before returning to Ft. Scott in 1980. They remained in Ft. Scott until 1996, at which time they moved to Parsons where they have lived since.
He enjoyed playing dominoes and coyote hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 14, 2007, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Scott. Friends may call at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons after 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2007.
