Glenna D. (McCullough) Davis, 67, of Chetopa, died at 7:10 p.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2007, at Chetopa Manor Nursing Home where she had entered 11 days prior to her death.
She was born February 20, 1940, in Chetopa, to Clifford K. and Goldine W. (Butts) McCullough. She grew up and attended school in Chetopa and was a 1958 graduate of Chetopa High School.
On December 22, 1957, she and Charles "David" Davis were married in Chetopa. For a time, they lived in Vancouver, Washington, while her husband was serving in the U.S. Army. They later moved to Belton, Missouri, where they lived until 1977 at which time they returned to Chetopa.
Upon returning to Chetopa, she worked at the Buckboard Restaurant, Redwood Café, Weddings IGA, Warwick's Grocery and the Oswego VFW Restaurant. She then became the owner of her own restaurant, G.D.'s Kitchen. Most recently, she worked at G&W Foods in Oswego.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "David" Davis, on September 6, 2006; one sister, Shirley Davis; and one great-grandson, Blake Davis-Lawson.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 8, 2007, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Chetopa. Friends may call at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa after 2:00 p.m., Friday.
