Grace S. Argue, 81, passed away at her home in rural Dennis, at 12:12 p.m., on Monday, June 24, 2019.
She was born on March 5, 1938, to William Vincent and Barbara Claudia (Shaffer) Emert in Independence, Kansas. As a young girl, Grace lived in Chetopa until age six when her family moved to Kansas City, Kansas. She graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1956 and later moved to Independence, Kansas.
She married Charles Argue. The couple later divorced.
Grace worked as a laborer in a can manufacturing company. She enjoyed watching basketball and football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

Three Sisters – Diana McGinnis of Raymore, Missouri

Audrey Eberra of Kansas City, Missouri
Five Grandchildren
Five Great-Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Katherine Spradley; three brothers, Richard, Mike and Arkie Emert; one sister, Helen Harwood; and one grandson, Kyle Campbell.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
