Harry E. Beebe, 77, of Parsons, died at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 21, 2008, at the home of his brother, Lee Beebe, in Parsons. He had been in failing health.
He was born August 4, 1931, in Coldwater, Kansas, to George Andrew and Lillian Rebecca (Prince) Beebe. He grew up and attended schools in Coldwater where he graduated high school.
Following high school graduation, he served the U.S. Army. After his discharge from the Army, he worked for a time at General Motors in Kansas City. He then worked for a number of years at Lipton Tea Company in Independence, Missouri.
He was a member of the American Legion in Hickman Mills, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one infant daughter.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 24, 2008, at Belton Cemetery in Belton, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
