Hazel Marie "Joy" Ezell, 68, of Columbia, South Carolina, died at her home Tuesday, October 31, 2006.
She was born May 5, 1938 to John Henry and Ola Mae (Pitts) Neal in Quinton, Oklahoma. As a young girl, she grew up and attended schools in Farmersville, California.
She and Roy Henson were married. They later divorced. She and Leon "Bud" Ezell were married and later divorced.
She loved and enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter. She also enjoyed painting and writing poetry.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, David Neal; one sister, Naomi Nadine Neal; and her ex-husband and dear friend, Roy Henson on October 7, 2006.
Following cremation, graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Chetopa.
