Helen I. Moore, 76, of St. Paul, formerly of Chanute, died at 8:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at Prairie Mission Retirement Village.
She was born October 3, 1935, in Pueblo, Colorado to John and Nell (Millburn) Moore. As a young girl she grew up and attended school in Oregon.
Through the years she worked as an interior decorator/artist. In 2001, she moved to Kansas to be near family.
Survivors include:
One Son – Kent Witzel Battle Ground, WA
One Daughter – Leah Nosack Salem, OR
Seven Grandchildren
One Great-Grandchild
One Sister – Kathryn Moore Salem, OR
She was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Moore; and one great-grandchild, Devon McNabb.
Private burial will be in Hope Cemetery near St. Paul under the direction of Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
