Herman L. Henricks, 79, of Chanute, died at 12:12 p.m., Tuesday,
December 16, 2014 at Via Christi Hospital St. Francis in Wichita.
He was born January 2, 1935 in Olpe, Kansas to Ben and Clara Regina (Schrader) Henricks. As a young boy, he grew up in the Olpe and Emporia, Kansas areas.
He enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing pool, and farming.
Survivors include one son, Jack Henricks, of the home; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two brothers, Jim Schaffer, Chanute, KS and Rocky Robertson, Leroy, KS; and three sisters, Barbara Rhoades, Emporia, KS, Wanda Headley, Chanute, KS, and Sally Robertson, Oklahoma City, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. The family will hold private committal services at a later date.
