Hilda L. Nash, 92, of Parsons, died at 6:05 p.m., Sunday, February 3, 2013, at Elm Haven West Nursing Home in Parsons.
She was born June 25, 1920, in Carthage, Missouri, to Charles and Pauline (Johnson) Mitchell. As a young girl, she grew up and attended schools in Carthage.
She and Henry L. Nash were married. After marriage, they lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Following her husband's death, she moved to Parsons where she had a baking business and later worked at Ray Products until retiring.
She was a member of Hamilton Chapel United Methodist Church in Parsons. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, baking, planting flowers and gardening.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, one sister, and five children, Norris Nash, Nathaniel Nash, Tony Nash, Luverdia Porter and Henry Nash.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2013, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
