Inis P. "Inez" Hightower

Inis P. "Inez" Hightower, 59, of Parsons, died at 11:06 a.m., Thursday, October 26, 2006, in the emergency room at the Labette County Medical Center. She had been in failing health; however, death was unexpected.

She was born November 9, 1946 in Parsons to Louis Conger, Sr. and Adell (Hines) Conger. She grew up and attended schools in Parsons graduating from Parsons High School. Following graduation, she lived in Wichita for several years before returning to Parsons in 1987.

She was employed by the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant as a laborer for several years. She enjoyed music, basketball and watching television. She also loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Friday, November 3, 2006 at the Watson Memorial Church of God in Christ in Parsons. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 2, 2006 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
