Irvin E. "Irv" Wilson, Sr., 60, of Chanute, and formerly of Parsons, passed away at 1:59 a.m., Friday, November 4, 2016 at his home.
He was born December 16, 1955 in Hartville, Missouri to Clifton C. and Alberta (Woody) Wilson. As a young boy, he grew up in Labette City, Kansas. He later graduated from Labette County High School in Altamont and attended Labette Community College in Parsons.
For five years, he worked for Individual Mausoleum Company in Parsons as a truck driver and vault setter. He later was employed by Grandview Products in Parsons.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting and especially enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters.
He and Debbie Blake were married November 11, 1980 in Parsons. They later divorced. On May 6, 2014, he and Latisha Saubers were married in Grove, Oklahoma. She survives of the home.

Seven Granddaughters – Sydney, Sadie, Rylee, Randi, Jessie, Emma and Blake; and one "on the way"

Four Sisters – Vernie Ellis Two Buttes, CO
Jewel Correll Grove, OK
Doris Haney Labette City, KS
Anna Scott Altoona, KS
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, J.C. Wilson; and one sister, Emma Tooley.
Graveside memorial services conducted by the family will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Springhill Cemetery near Parsons.
