Ivan Lewis Good, 85, of Parsons, passed away at 5:10 p.m., Sunday, October 11, 2009, at Elmhaven West Nursing Home in Parsons.
He was born September 24, 1924, in Anderson County, to Carl Charles and Alice M. (Walsh) Good.
In 1975, Mr. Good moved from Anderson County to rural Parsons where he was a farmer and rancher in both Labette and Neosho counties, until retiring in the mid 1990's. He had resided at Woodridge Estates since 2005. He will fondly be remembered as "Lewis" to his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, two daughters, one son, and three grandsons.
He was preceded in death by one son.
The family will hold private committal services at a future date in Anderson County where his ashes will be buried near his grandfather's grave.
In lieu of flowers or cards, memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association for research. These may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O.
