Jahmarcus T. Washington

JahMarcus T. Washington, 17, of Parsons, passed away the evening of Tuesday, June 25, 2024.

JahMarcus TreyVon Washington was born on February 5, 2007, to Yolonda Yvette Buck in Parsons.  As a young boy, he mostly grew up and attended school in Parsons.  Last May, he completed his junior year at Parsons High School.

His main focus in life was football.  He was known as "Deuce" and loved to work out and encouraged others to work out also.  A loving son, brother, and friend, JahMarcus had a smile that could light up any room.  He was a humble young man, who loved and cared for others.

His maternal grandparents – Soloman E. and Johnnie M. Taylor

Five aunts – LaTasha Taylor, Samantha Taylor, Christiana Walker, Bianca Beard, and Yvette Polk

Two nieces – Sayora Hurdle and Clover Dixon

One nephew – Charles Dixon, V

Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins

He was preceded in death by one brother, Tony Washington, Jr.; and one aunt, Breunca Taylor.

The funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the Remnant Nazarene Church of Parsons.  Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Parsons.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
