James P. "Jim" Augustine

James P. "Jim" Augustine, 50, of Parsons, died at 10:23 a.m., Wednesday, October 10, 2007, in the emergency room at Labette Health. He had been in his usual health and his death was unexpected.

He was born December 20, 1956 in Strong City, Kansas, to Joseph and Wilma (Adkins) Augustine. Several years ago, he moved to Parsons.

One Sister – Joanna Klumpe St. Joseph, MO

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Shirley Augustine, of Topeka.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Parsons. The Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m., Monday, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home after
11:00 a.m., Monday.

Following the service, the body will be cremated. A private family committal service will be held at a later date in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas.
