James P. "Red" Breslin, 56, of Altamont, died at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He was born June 29, 1953, in Los Angeles, California, to Francis and Ellen (Bailey) Breslin. He grew up and attended schools in Trona, California. He served in the U.S. Army two years.
Following his discharge from the Army, he lived in Henderson, Nevada, 17 years and worked as a tow truck driver and at Hoover Dam. For the past seven years, he lived in Altamont and worked at Spears Manufacturing in Caney until becoming ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 14, 2010, at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Altamont.
