Jane M. Greer

Jane M. Greer, 77, formerly of Erie, passed away at 10:31 p.m., Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Westmoreland Health and Rehab in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Jane Marie Reynolds was born on February 13, 1946, to Ralph and Margarete (Brewer) Reynolds in Parsons.  As a young girl, she grew up and attended school in Parsons.

Throughout her life, Jane lived in several cities throughout the United States and Canada.  In 2003, she returned to the Parsons area and worked as an ombudsman for the state of Kansas.

She attended Tri-State Faith Center in Parsons.  Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren.

On July 19, 1975, Jane and Richard R. "Dick" Greer were united in marriage in Branson, Missouri.  He preceded her in death on September 26, 2008.

Survivors include:

Two sons – Bubba Greer of Knoxville, Tennessee

Chad C. Cunningham of Maryville, Tennessee

One daughter – Shawna Hernandez of San Antonio, Texas

Two grandchildren

Two step-grandchildren

Three brothers – Donnie Reynolds of Parsons, Kansas

David "Elvy" Reynolds of Inyokern, California

John Reynolds of Bakersfield, California

One sister – Judy Curtis of Parsons, Kansas

The memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
