Janice S. Crozier, 68, of Parsons, passed away at 9:34 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2019, at her home.
Janice Sue Jordan was born on September 5, 1951, to Charles "Harry" and Phyllis Elaine (Higgins-Shapley) Jordan in St. John, Kansas. As a young girl, Janice grew up in various towns and for a time her family lived in the Canal Zone in Panama. She graduated from Caney Valley High School in 1969.
In 1987 Janice earned an Associate's Degree in Nursing from Labette Community College. She worked as a registered nurse in nursing homes and hospital geriatric departments. Janice was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Parsons Branch. She was a devoted wife and mother, making a home for her family as they lived in various places while her husband served in the military. Janice loved to help others and believed that helping others gave her life purpose. She also enjoyed crocheting, watching "The Sound of Music,' and taking care of her dogs.
Janice and Theron Gordon Crozier were married on December 12, 1970, in Manti, Utah. Gordon survives of the home.

Mary Ann Cavanaugh and her husband, Mike, of Columbus, Kansas

Numerous Nieces and Nephews
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 15, 2019, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Parsons, Kansas. Burial will take place at 1:30 p.m., Friday at the National Cemetery in Fort Scott, Kansas. The family will receive friends 7 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
