Jarnell G. Webb

Jarnell "Snell" Webb, Sr., 72, of Topeka and formerly of Parsons, passed away at 7:11 a.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka.

He was born on May 4, 1949, to Charles Williams and Lavetta Webb in Parsons, Kansas.  Growing up in Parsons, he attended Douglass Elementary School and Parsons High School.  As a young man, he worked for Pole Landscape in Independence.  For several years, Jarnell was the maintenance man for Westgate Apartments and Belmont Towers in Parsons, until his retirement in 2009.

Jarnell enjoyed working on cars and fixing things.  He also enjoyed taking care of his lawn.

On July 30, 1993, Jarnell and Ruby Jean Dobbins were united in marriage in Miami, Oklahoma.  She preceded him in death on November 19, 2019.

Cedric Webb, Sr. of Parsons, Kansas

Sheldon Webb of Parsons, Kansas

One daughter – Marlaina Webb of Topeka, Kansas

One step-son – Charles Hervey, III and his wife, Kellie, of Texas

Two brothers – Delmar Webb of Parsons, Kansas

Jeffery Webb of Parsons, Kansas

One sister – Della Webb of Coffeyville, Kansas

Twenty-four grandchildren

Twenty great-grandchildren

One great-great granddaughter

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruby, on November 19, 2019; and one sister, Brenda Webb.

There will be a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
