Jason Allen "Boots" Ryan, 39, of Gardner, Kansas and formerly of Parsons, passed away at his home Friday morning, April 1, 2016.
He was born January 24, 1977 in Parsons, Kansas to Joseph A. and Nancy (Yeoman) Ryan. Jason was a 1995 graduate of Labette County High School in Altamont and a 2004 graduate of Mount Marty College in Yankton, South Dakota where he earned an Associate degree in Business Management and Summa Cum Laude honors.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and ATV's, working with electronics, and refinishing furniture. He was an excellent artist, had the ability to repair anything he set his mind to, and was a hard worker. His young nieces and nephews loved playing with him because he was so silly with them. Jason was also a dog lover. His friends say they will always remember him for his great personality, sense of humor, and infectious laugh. He was currently employed by Thompkins Industries in Olathe, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Ryan, on March 14, 2013; maternal and paternal grandparents, and two uncles.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time, on Saturday, at the funeral home.
