Jennifer Lea Hansen

Following a long and courageous battle with cancer, Jennifer L. Hansen, 37, of Parsons, passed away at 7:24 a.m., Thursday, December 3, 2020, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Jennifer Lea Loffer was born on November 23, 1983, to Rickey Lee and Terry Lorraine (Tosh) Loffer in Coffeyville, Kansas. As a young girl, Jennifer grew up and attended grade school in Edna. In 2002, she graduated from Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville. She moved to Parsons in 2006.

A devoted wife and mother, Jennifer lovingly raised her two sons. She had been a member of Living Faith Tabernacle Church in Coffeyville, Kansas. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She also enjoyed crafts, sewing and reading.

On December 8, 2006, Jennifer and Adam Hansen were united in marriage in Parsons. He survives of the home.

Her mother – Terry Sutton of Coffeyville, Kansas

Four brothers – Rickey Loffer, II, of Coffeyville, Kansas

Jimmy Loffer (Jennifer) of Snowflake, Arizona

Tyrone Loffer (Bailey) of Coffeyville, Kansas

Michael Testerman of Lawrence, Kansas

Two sisters – Melissa Stephens (Michael) of Erie, Kansas

Leota Benefiel (Mike) of Dewey, Oklahoma

Father and mother-in-law – Chris and Mari Anne Hansen of Parsons, Kansas

Several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her father, Rickey Lee Loffer, Sr., and one sister, Melinda Testerman.

The funeral service will be 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons. Friends may come in to see Jennifer and sign the book from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home. There will be a private family burial of cremains at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
