Jennifer L. Thompson

Jennifer L. Thompson, 31, of Parsons, passed away at 10:15 p.m., Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Labette Health.

Jennifer Lynn Thompson was born on December 12, 1990, to Carmon D. and Joy Lynn (Patton) Thompson in Parsons.  She grew up and attended school in Parsons, graduating from Parsons High School in 2009.  Following high school, she attended Kansas State University and lived in Manhattan for a time.  Most of her life, she lived in Parsons.

A talented artist, Jennifer enjoyed painting pictures, doing beadwork and designing and sewing clothes.  Her dear cat, Perry, was her emotional support animal and friend.

Survivors include:

Her mother and step-father – Joy and Arthur Misner of Grove, Oklahoma

Her father – Carmon Thompson of Parsons, Kansas

Two brothers – Michael A. Thompson of South Dakota

Jacob A. Thompson and his wife, Alexis, of Bryan, Texas

Two nephews – Gavin James Thompson and River Dale Thompson

Fiancé – Austin Byers of Parsons, Kansas

She was preceded in death by infant twin brothers, Nicholas Alexander and Andrew Kyle Thompson.

Following cremation, burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.

The family is having a Memorial Get-Together and Potluck from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2022, at the Parsons Arboretum Visitor's Center.
