Jeremiah Gann, 28, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, formerly of Altamont, Kansas, died unexpectedly at his home in Tulsa. He was born September 27, 1984 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James G. and Myrtle Catherine "Katie" (Pierce) Gann. As a child, he moved with his family to Altamont, Kansas. He attended elementary school in Cherryvale, Kansas and graduated from Labette County High School in 2003. He joined the United States Navy and served for two years. Following his discharge, he worked at Cessna in Independence, Lear Jet in Wichita, and was currently working for Spirit Aero Systems in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was married to Mindy Steverson and later divorced. He married Megan Martinez and they were later divorced. He enjoyed music, pyrotechnics, airplanes, R/C airplanes and cars, kayaking and camping. Survivors include: Two sons- Seth Gann Pittsburg, KS Eli Gann Seattle, WA Mother and Stepfather – Katie and Jim Potocnik Altamont, KS Brother - Joshua Joe Gann and his wife D'Ann Cherryvale, KS Sister – Catherine Reynolds and her husband Eathiel Granby, MO Maternal Grandmother – Betty Pierce Coffeyville, KS Several Aunts and Uncles He was preceded in death by his father, James Gann; and a brother, Joey Gann. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 5, 2013 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Parsons. Burial will be in St. Bridget's Cemetery in Scammon. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Jeremiah Gann Memorial Fund.
