Jeremy L. Boss, 43, of rural Parsons, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019.
Jeremy was born on October 2, 1975 in Independence, Kansas to Lisa Seller. She married Greg Boss in 1976, and he adopted and raised Jeremy as his own.
He grew up in the rural Dennis area and attended the Mound Valley Grade School and the Labette County High School where he graduated with the class of 1994. Following high school, Jeremy worked for a time for the Flesh Printing Company in Parsons. He then worked for the Western Uniform Company for several years and in construction for a short time. Jeremy started Jeremy Boss Trucking in 2010, which he primarily provided transportation service for the CST Company in Parsons.
Jeremy was an avid deer hunter, enjoyed fishing and was an avid Denver Broncos fan. He also enjoyed raising cattle. Jeremy enjoyed spending time with his daughters and his brothers, other family and friends. Jeremy had many lifelong friends that he especially enjoyed spending time with.
Survivors include two daughters, Jenna and Jaylee Kramer, both of rural Parsons; his mother and step-father, Lisa and Greg Bobbett of rural Dennis; his father and step-mother; Greg and Tanna Boss of Cherryvale; two brothers, Ben (Dawn) Boss and Brad (Jamie) Boss both of rural Dennis and his maternal grandmother, Kay Seller of Parsons.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leonard "Cotton" Seller, his grandparents, Merlyn and Jean Boss and his cousin Andy Simmons.
Funeral services for Jeremy will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Parsons Foursquare Church. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Dennis. The family will receive friends at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday.
