Jeremy S. Haviland, 34, of Parsons, passed away Saturday morning, October 31, 2015. He had been in his usual health and death was not expected.
He was born November 20, 1980 in Parsons, Kansas to Steven Leon and Lisa Kay (Allen) Haviland. Jeremy grew up in Parsons where he attended school and was a 1999 graduate of Parsons High School.
For a time, he worked as manager at Auto Zone in Parsons, Columbian TecTank and Boss Tank. He was currently employed by Ducommun Aero Structures where he had worked the past ten years.
Jeremy enjoyed NASCAR, watching NHRA, and drag racing his 1970 Nova at Mo-Kan Speedway. He also enjoyed racing motorcycles, remote control cars, fishing, hunting, target shooting, and buying and selling vehicles.

Three Daughters – Twins Laila and Kera, and Madelyn of the home
Father – Steve Haviland Parsons, KS
Mother – Lisa Earling and husband, Warren Scammon, KS
One Sister – Crystal Miller and husband, Gary Parsons, KS
Three Nephews – Corbin, Noah and Chandler
One Niece – Sadie
Paternal Grandparents – Leon and Dee Haviland Parsons, KS
Maternal Grandparents – Max and Jean Allen Scammon, KS
Mother-in-law – Carolyn Stangle Parsons, KS
The family will receive friends from 2-4:00 p.m., Thursday, November 5, 2015, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Following visitation, a graveside service will be held at 4:15 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Dennis.
