Jessica Lynn Clark, 40, of Miami, Oklahoma died Tuesday, July 25, 2006 in Chetopa, Kansas. She was born April 10, 1966 in Carthage, Missouri to Jerry and Deanna (Perdue) Chapman.
She graduated from McNary High School in Salem, Oregon and attended college at NEO in Miami, Oklahoma, where she majored in computer science. On March 9, 1998 she married Chester Clark, Jr., at Miami, Oklahoma. He survives of the home.
She served in the US Army for seven years as a chemical engineer in Germany. She and her husband did construction work. She was a heavy equipment operator and a certified crane operator. They had resided in Miami since 1998.
She attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and was a member of the International Operating Engineers Union 627 of Tulsa, Oklahoma and a member of the Cherokee Tribe. She loved to do glass etching.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Chester Clark, Sr.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 29, 2006 at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa with Rev. Jack Wilkinson officiating. Another memorial service will be held at a later date in Carthage, Missouri. Friends may call at the funeral home in Chetopa after 10:00 a.m., till 5:00 p.m., Friday, to sign the memorial book.
