Joe Raymond Judd, 81, of Pryor, Oklahoma, died at 3:39 a.m., Friday, July 3, 2009, at his home. He had been in failing health.
He was born October 2, 1927, in Treece, Kansas, to John Raymond and Emma Lorraine (Balay) Judd. He was a graduate of Commerce High School in Commerce, Oklahoma.
Mr. Judd served 25 years in the United States Air Force and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant. Following his military service, he worked in the oil fields and construction. He also worked as a truck driver and laborer at Arco Warehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma, retiring from there in 1971.
He and Betty Irene Littlejohn were married August 24, 1956, in Quapaw, Oklahoma. She survives of the home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Jim Judd.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at the Russell Creek Cemetery near Chetopa, Kansas. Friends may call at Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home to sign the register book on Tuesday.
