Johnnie Lee Carnahan, 75, of Parsons, passed away at 10:47 a.m., Sunday, July 14, 2019, at Woodridge Estates in Parsons.

He was born October 18, 1943 in Parsons to Horace F. and Bessie (McMillan) Carnahan. He grew up in Parsons and graduated from Labette County Community High School.

Johnnie was involved in the automobile sales and service business for 42 years in Parsons. He was the owner/operator of JC Motors in Parsons. Besides spending time with his family, he also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

On September 14, 1970 he married Sandra K. Lamb in Miami, Oklahoma. She survives of the home.

One Sister – Betty Schmid of Parsons

He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, James, Harold, Carl and Wayne Carnahan; and one sister, Bessie Garretson.

Memorials are suggested to Harry Hynes Hospice or the American Cancer Society. These may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, KS 67357.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Galesburg, Kansas
