Johnny F. Canady, 67, of Parsons, passed away at 4:45 a.m., Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Parsons Good Samaritan Society.
He was born April 6, 1948 in Parsons, Kansas to Frank and Thelma L. (Chandler) Canady. He grew up in Parsons where he attended school.
He worked as a self-employed handyman, mowed lawns, and for several years traveled while working for Toby's Carnival. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and playing cards. For a time, he lived in Denver with his sister.

Companion – Ivy Taylor

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, David Michael Canady; and two sisters, Shirley Dean and Mary Mitchell.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
