Josephine M. Tatro, 93, of Chetopa, died at 1:25 a.m., Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Chetopa Manor Nursing Home.
She was born September 8, 1918 in Quinter, Kansas to Adam Michael and Josephine (Bouman) Zerr.
She and Fred Kreutzer were married. He preceded her in death in July of 1948. In 1952, she and John Tatro were married. He preceded her in death in August of 2005.
Survivors include:
One Son – Robert Kreutzer and wife, Barbara Garden City, KS
One Daughter – Sharon Wilson and husband, Larry Oswego, KS
Seven Grandchildren
Thirteen Great-Grandchildren
One Great-Great-Grandson
In addition to her two husbands, she was preceded in death by five brothers, five sisters, two infant sons, and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 21, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Garden City, Kansas. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. The rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City.
