Joshua F. Hilderbrand, 23, of Altamont, passed away at 3:54 a.m., Sunday, December 13, 2015 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He was born September 11, 1992 in Parsons, Kansas to Keith and Tammy (Lavender) Hilderbrand. Joshua grew up in Altamont where he attended Altamont Grade School and was a 2011 graduate of Labette County High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society. In May of 2014, Joshua earned an Associate degree in Applied Science from Labette Community College in Parsons. He was currently working as an x-ray technician at Access Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
He loved playing Xbox and riding roller coasters. Joshua also enjoyed playing basketball, chess, and in earlier years, baseball.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dale Lavender, on August 1, 2011; and his paternal grandparents, William "Duke" and Letha Hilderbrand.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Edna Elm Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience on Wednesday evening at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Altamont.
