Joshua C. "Josh" Shepeard, 18, of Parsons, died at 4:07 a.m., Sunday, August 30, 2009, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident.
He was born October 31, 1990, in Parsons, to Michael Phillip and Teresa Ann (Kramer) Shepeard. He grew up in Parsons and was home schooled throughout his educational life.
He attended Parsons Foursquare Church in earlier years. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, playing wiffleball and Frisbee golf, bowling, and riding his motorcycle.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 3, 2009, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
