Judith "Judy" Byrd, 61, of Parsons, passed away at 4:15 p.m., Friday, June 20, 2014 at her home.
She was born January 4, 1953 in Sutter, California to Harrison and Eula Dell (Bohannon) Oliver. As a young child, she moved to Marshall, Arkansas where she grew up and attended school in nearby Welcome Home, Arkansas.
As a young adult, she moved to Parsons. She then lived in various cities through the years before returning to Parsons three years ago to be near family.
While living in Welcome Home, she had attended the First Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing video games, going to casinos and watching professional wrestling.
She and Chester Leroy Byrd were married. They later divorced.
Survivors include two daughters, Gladys Correll and Tammie Kendrick, both of Parsons, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and three brothers, Jackie Oliver, H.D. Oliver and Robert Oliver, all of Marshall, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
