Judith F. Redburn

November 26, 1945 — June 16, 2008

Judith F. "Judy" Redburn, 62, of Parsons, Kansas,died Monday, June 16, 2008, at her home. She had been in her usual health and death was not expected.

She was born November 26, 1945, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Leo Joseph and Nell Marie (Farley) Allen. As a young girl, she grew up in Fort Smith and Wichita, Kansas.

She and Alfred Wayne Redburn were married in 1975. In 1984, they moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where they remained until her husband's death in 1995. At that time, she moved to Parsons to be near family. While living in Parsons, she earned her Associate Degree at Labette Community College. Through the years, she worked as a legal secretary.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Parsons. She enjoyed being involved in church activities and spending time with her cats and dogs. She especially enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren.

One Daughter – Shelby Hansen and her husband, Henrik Atlantic Beach, FL
Four Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 23, 2008, at the First Baptist Church in Parsons. Burial of the cremains will be in Sunset Lawns Cemetery in El Dorado, Kansas. Friends may call at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home to sign the register from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday.
