Judith (Clark) Reinthal, 86, of Parsons, passed away at 10:23 a.m., Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
She was born November 3, 1930 in Evanston, Illinois to Ephraim and Katherine (Moore) Clark. She graduated from Evanston High School, attended Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts, and graduated from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.
On March 1, 1954, she married Umberto Reinthal, in Seattle, Washington. Judith and her husband also resided in New York, New Jersey, Illinois, and later retired in Rogers, Arkansas in 1995, where they lived for 16 years. Following her husband's death on May 29, 2011, she relocated to Castle Rock, Colorado. In April of 2015, she moved to Parsons and resided at Presbyterian Manor.
Judith and her husband of 57 years traveled extensively during their marriage, which they both enjoyed. In addition to traveling in the U.S., their trips included the Caribbean, Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America, Egypt, Israel, Africa, and Indonesia, which she wrote journals of their experiences.
Judith worked as an administrative assistant for engineering and pharmaceutical companies in Illinois and New Jersey before her retirement. She enjoyed the arts and attended many exhibits, concerts and Broadway productions with her husband. Judith was an animal lover, and was especially close to her canine companions in recent years. She was a sports enthusiast, and enjoyed watching tennis and basketball. She loved the Chicago Cubs and later became a Denver Broncos fan. She was a great cook and created many international dishes.
She is survived by two daughters, Heidi (Reinthal) Daley, and her husband, John, of Parsons, and Karin (Reinthal) Nunley, and her husband, Michael, of Castle Rock, CO; four grandchildren, Michael Nunley and wife, Kara, of Lone Tree, CO, Michael Daley and wife, Jessica, of Tacoma, WA, Rebecca Daley and Samantha Daley, of Oklahoma City, OK; a great-granddaughter, Michaela Doss, of Oklahoma City, and a niece, Linda White and husband, Ken, of East Dennis, MA.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation arrangements will be handled by the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Evanston, Illinois.
