Judson Emerson Edwards was born in 1927 in Salem, IN, of James and Grace Edwards. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a degree in business and economics. He retired as a Lieutenant from the Kentucky State Police. After retirement, he served as Commissioner of Transportation in Northern Virginia and then as Vice President of Economic Development for the Hart County Chamber of Commerce, KY, and as Vice President of Economic Development for the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce in Covington, KY. During his tenure as Commissioner and as economic development consultant, he traveled internationally. His greatest pleasure was found in the company of his family and friends. Judson was a talented musician and vocalist. His lifelong interests were world religions and traveling.

Judson is survived by his wife, E. Jean Rodgers, of Parsons, KS; a son, Vincent, of Mandeville, LA, and three grandsons, Michael, Jarrad and Josh; a daughter, Mary Rawlings, of Midway, KY, and two grandsons, Zachery and Travis; a son, James Edwards, of Naples, FL, and one grandson, Vincent.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, at the Episcopal Church, Parsons, KS, with Father Richard McCandless and Reverend Elton Garrison officiating. The body was cremated.
