Judy A. Bonine

Judy A. Bonine, 70, of Pittsburg, Kansas passed away at 9:50 p.m., Thursday, December 8, 2022, at the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.

Judy Ann Beard was born on August 16, 1952, to John Eugene and Mae Catherine (Steele) Beard in Parsons, Kansas.  As a young girl, she grew up and attended school in Parsons.

On February 11, 1972, Judy and Clifford L. Bonine were united in marriage in Miami, Oklahoma.  Following their marriage, they lived in Parsons until making a home in the rural Galesburg area.  For many years, Judy managed the Braum's in Parsons.  To be closer to her children, she moved to Pittsburg, where she worked at Ron's IGA for a few years before retiring.

Judy's family was the center of her life and loved cooking for the holidays.  Other activities she enjoyed were doing crafts, going to casinos, and watching "I Love Lucy."

Two sons – Clifford Bonine, II (Sabrina) of Galesburg, Kansas

Christopher Bonine of Pittsburg, Kansas

One daughter – Kimberly Bonine of Pittsburg, Kansas

Three grandchildren – Caitlynn Secrest (Shane); Kelsea Bonine (Michael); and Justen Bonine (Kimberly)

Three great-grandchildren – Nataleigh, Shaelynn, and Shane

One brother – John Beard of Galesburg, Kansas

One sister – Patsy Haile of Parsons, Kansas

Her dear dog - Weston

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Clifford, on June 15, 2021.

The graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2022, at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Parsons.  Friends may stop by the funeral home to sign the register from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Friday.
