Justin William "Bubba" Ramirez, 21 of Parsons, died June 6, 2014 following a two vehicle accident on Highway 69 in Cherokee County.
He was born November 13, 1992 in Parsons to Joaquin Ramirez, Jr. and Melody (Billman) Ramirez. He grew up in Parsons and attended Meadow View Elementary School and Parsons High School. He graduated from Labette Community College with an Associates of Arts Degree in Engineering Technology. He was currently in his third year of college at Pittsburg State University and working an internship with Able Manufacturing in Joplin, Missouri.
While attending Labette Community College, Justin was a Student Government Senator and a Student Support Services member including being student of the month in December of 2012. He received the Top 20 Cardinal Award. He was listed in the Who's Who of Community College students and also tutored math students.
He enjoyed playing baseball and played in the Parsons Babe Ruth League. His All-Star team competed at the State Championship level several times. He worked at St. Vincent DePaul Society. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and going to his grandparents' farm and working with his uncles.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Joaquin Ramirez, Sr.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Parsons. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
The Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday evening at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. The family will receive friends at 7:00 p.m., following the Rosary at the funeral home.
