Karen L. Grider, 65, of Parsons, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at her home.
She was born June 21, 1953 in Kansas City, Kansas to James W. and Beverly J. (Saul) Grider. As a young girl, Karen grew up in Parsons.
Karen enjoyed receiving gifts, coloring, working puzzles, and wearing beads. She especially enjoyed Diet Coke and mints. Karen was outgoing, loved visiting with people, enjoyed going places, and had never met a stranger.

Her Mother – Beverly Grider of Olathe, KS
One Brother – Stephen Grider of Stephens City, VA
One Sister – Paula Grider of Bethesda, MD
A host of friends at Rescare and throughout Parsons and Bonner Springs
She was preceded in death by her father, James Grider.
Private graveside services will be held under the direction of Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
